Spring is around the corner

Finally it seems like winter is coming to an end. North Dakota winters are not my favorite time of the year although snow is a lot of fun. It just lasts too long and the coldness bites! My favorite time of the year has to be spring and fall with summer cutting close as well. I just don’t like it too hot or too cold. I was told that Sweden had it’s warmest winter in about 250 years! I remember growing up and me and my friends would be outdoors every winter playing snowball fights, making snow angels and never wanting to go inside. Those were some fun days! Our snow suits and gloves were soaking wet and cold and our lips were turning blue but still we would want to stay outside and have more fun. Well, in my teenage years it seemed as if we never got that much snow anymore. It would snow lightly in the evenings but it would have melted away by morning.  Here in North Dakota we don’t have a shortage of snow. I can’t wait until next winter when Linn is a bit older and we can go snow sleding, build snow forts, and make snow angels.

Anyhow, for my family, friends and other visitors, I am glad to keep you all posted about our lives. As most of you know, I have had this blog for over 4 years now (with many changes overtime). You all now that we want to share our expereinces with you all since some of you haven’t seen us in years. Everybody is scattered all over the nation and even all over the world. You all know where to find us if you need anything. Take care of yourselves and each other!

There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust, while the infamous sit at banquets. — Robert Ingersoll
