Congratulations to our friend Peggy who just made Commander with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Also she won the Chapter Member of the Year Award! She is great person who gives 120% to the Disabled Veterans. We are proud to be your friends!

Before I was a Mom
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn’t worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on. Chewed on. Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots. I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching [ ... ]

Hej alla mina vänner och min familj. Jag tänker på er varje dag och saknar er alla jätte mycket. Jag försöker att planera en resa hem till sen-sommaren eller tidig höst detta året för mig och Linn. Jag vill väldigt gärna se er igen och bara umgås plus att ni ska få träffa min lilla ögonsten “Linn.” Här går livet sin gilla gång och jag arbetar fortfarande deltid och Brian går i skolan och har cirka 3 år kvar. Han läser just nu till ingenjör. Sommaren/våren har äntligen kommit till oss efter en iskall och snöig [ ... ]

The last 2 days we had such nice weather. The temperatures have been in the upper 70s and even low 80s!!! We decided to take Linn to the park and she just loved it. She still has to figure out the swings and the slide but she seemed pretty happy about it all. The day was a bit windy but overall it was nice. I am so glad that the North Dakota winter has finally come to an end. I love North Dakota but the winters can be just a bit too long and a bit too cold. Yippie, [ ... ]
