Zoo Winter Visit

I can’t hardly believe that I am going to write about our fun filled day yesterday at the Dakota zoo in the middle of winter. Well, after having had temperature as low as -31F, we had to do something outdoors and fun with Linn. The zoo was open since the weather was about +30F (one extreme to another) and they had the big animals outdoors. The three of us were the only people there beside the staff. We had the entire park to ourselves!! We brought some corn and headed towards the animals…we had so much fun feeding the goats, horses, donkeys, deer, and seers. Linn was running around throwing corn to all the animals and didn’t care about her nose turning bright red from the cold. It is such a pleasure hearing her laugh and being happy.  Days like these are precious and we feel that we can accomplish anything as long as she is happy!
