Back to school

It is finally happening…8 years in waiting and still can’t believe I’m going back to school to finish my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science.

Things that I can cross of my to do list is:

  1. Apply for admission
  2. Determine major
  3. Meet with adviser
  4. Audit old official transcripts
  5. Apply for financial aid and scholarships
  6. Register for classes
  7. Buy school books
  8. Go to school
  9. Study hard
  10. Earn my degree

I have not felt so excited in a very long time and I can still recall how much I loved to attend school. No doubt about it, it’s going to be very hard going to school full-time, working full-time, and be a wife and a mother…I got tired just writing it!!! It will be worth every gray hair it is going to give me because in the end, the entire family will benefit from it. One advantage that I do have is the fact that I already have 2 1/2 to 3 years of college work that will count towards my degree so it should not take longer than 1 to 1 1/2 years to graduate…it seems as a long time but just looking back 3 years, I contemplate how fast time flies. Wish me luck and I will keep you updated. Take care everyone :)

I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death — Leonardo da Vinci
