Feel like bums, insecure,
But in truth, our riches astound.
We have friends and family we love;
We have guidance from heaven above.
We have so much more
Than they sell in a store,
We’re wealthy, when push comes to shove.

Brian finally got a buck license this year and in the badlands of all places! Him and his dad spent a few days on a friend’s ranch and he managed to get a 5×5 mule deer buck! We just dropped it off at the meat processor and the head at the taxidermy! It will be nice to fill our freezer with meat for the rest of the year…summer sausage sounds pretty yummy. People have different opinions about hunting but it is definately a help with the grocery cost in this household!

Precious Mother
I Wish I Could See You One More Time
Come Walking Through My Door
But, I Know That Is Impossible
I Will Hear Your Voice No More
I Know You Can Feel My Tears
And You Don’t Want Me To Cry
Yet, My Heart Is Broken
Because I Can’t Understand Why
Someone So Precious Had To Die
I Search for Strength
And Somehow Get Me Through
As I Struggle With This Heartache
That Was Caused By Losing You
In Precious Memory Of Mamma Gun
Who Walked Through Heaven’s Gate
