Who would have thought that I would someday enjoy gardening? Me, who grew up in the city with pavement as far as your eyes could see, have trully started to love the art of gardening. It is still not very big or vast but a work in progress. It is very rewarding to see how things you care for, plan for, and spend time on grows and fruition. Child Passenger Safety Technician

As of a few weeks ago, I am officially a nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician with Safe Kids.  It was a very interesting 32 hours course and also very intense. It was 4 days of 8-9 hour of constant education and hands-on training. When I was asked to take this class by my manager, I thought that what could you possibly learn about car seat safety over the course of 4 days??? Well, more than I could ever imagine. Froghunting at lake Harmon

The best part about the ND summers is the outdoors, hands down! We were sitting at home with wonderful weather with about 70 F degrees and wondering what to do…we decided to drive to the nearby lake and look at the fish, frogs, and throw rocks in the water with our little girl. We saw a few frogs and Linn was so excited and ran in the shallow water with her shoes on (to avoid cuts on her feet) and chased the leopard frogs.
