Total Cervical Disc Arthroplasty Surgery

I now am 3 days post-op of my total cervical disc arthroplasty surgery and doing fairly well. The surgery went well but it’s kind weird thinking that I have a metal disc in my neck and a big scar on my throat. It’s amazing what can be done to your body. All my neurological symptoms were gone as soon as I woke up from surgery (have a few tingling sensations but it’s due to the nerves still being swollen). The Anticipation of Lumbar Discectomy Surgery

Lumbar discectomy surgery actually sounds much better than you might think for us at the moment. A date has finally been set for Brian’s upcoming back surgery – long time overdue if you ask my opinion. It is so severe at the moment that he is experiencing nerve damage and major loss of back and leg function. I can’t even start telling you about the long battle with Brian’s disabled back (one of many conditions) but it has been a major cause of pain and discomfort.
